ISIS supporters make sick boast that London Bridge attack was revenge for RAF’s ‘love from Manchester’ bomb,
SICK ISIS supporters have claimed the bloody attack in London was revenge for the "love from Manchester" message daubed on an RAF bomb.
Fiends posted a picture of the weapon that was dropped on ISIS targets in the wake of the attack in Manchester. They captioned it: "This is your merchandise and tonight we've responded."
But there has been no official statement from the terror group to back up the vile claim and the exact source of the "revenge" tweet is not known.
The RAF message was daubed on a Paveway IV missile and loaded on to a Reaper drone before being used in airstrikes in the days following the May 22 attack.
The extremists' response was posted on Twitter by Rita Katz, the executive director of SITE Intelligence Group.
SITE is a world leading non-governmental extremist monitoring group.
Co-founded and run by Katz, the US-based organisation charts terrorist activity on networks such as the Telegram messaging app favoured by jihadis.
The Ministry of Defence declined to comment when contacted about the image today.
The RAF's original defiant note was initially thought to be a social media hoax, but RAF bosses confirmed it was genuine.
At the time, a source told The Sun: "The sentiment of the message is understandable under the circumstances. There’s a history of messages being written on missiles in the RAF.
"It’s unlikely the individual responsible for it will be disciplined."
The taunting image posted by ISIS overnight is just one of a number of sick graphics to surface on pro-ISIS accounts in the hours following last night's attack.
The terror group warned of more attacks just days before last night’s atrocity that has left at least seven dead and 48 injured.
Jihadis took to social media to praise the three terrorists who ploughed through crowds on the bridge before going on a stabbing rampage with hunting knives.
Extremists responded by saying: “These are the black days we promised.”
ISIS has not officially claimed responsibility for the attack, but terror channels urged lone wolves to kill people by “running them over with vehicles”.
