Dashcam footage captures London Bridge attack trail of devastation with victims strewn on the road and people running for their lives

FOOTAGE recorded by a taxi dash-cam shows the scene moments after the attack on London Bridge.

Victims are strewn across the road and people are seen running for their lives.

Taxi driver Radoslav Petrov was working last night and passed through the London Bridge area not long after the attack.

Emergency service vehicles rush past as cars try to scramble out of their way in the aftermath of last night’s events.

As Petrov travels slowly along London Bridge his dash-cam shows distressed people reeling from the bloodshed.

Groups are seen huddling on the footpath, others attending to injured victims, and some people simply just run across the bridge away from the area.

Carnage struck London Bridge last night when three terrorists wearing stab-proof vests drove a van and ploughed into at least 20 pedestrians just after 10pm.

The men then jumped out of the vehicle and started stabbing nearby revellers with hunting knives.

Six died in the attack and at least 30 have been taken to hospital for treatment.

• A van ploughed through pedestrians on London Bridge just after 10pm on Saturday

• Three men wearing fake bomb vests jumped out on the south end of the bridge at Borough Market and began knifing bystanders and pub-goers

• Armed police arrived on the scene and within eight minutes the three terrorists were shot dead

• At least six victims were killed and 48 people were injured. The injured were being treated across five London hospitals. One of the injured was a British Transport Police officer who was stabbed in the face

• Theresa May will chair a Cobra emergency response meeting later after the attack was confirmed to be a terror incident

• Four controlled explosions were heard near The Sun’s offices in London Bridge between 1:20am and 1:50am

• Police appealed for witnesses
