Drunk passenger bound with gaffer tape after racist attack on stewardess during Malaysia Airlines flight to Heathrow

Receptionist Maxine Williams screamed 'I hate your f***ing country' at the stewardess when she was refused more alcohol after boozing for ten hours

A DRUNK airline passenger was bound with gaffer tape after she yelled racist insults and kicked a flight attendant.

Maxine Williams, who had been boozing for ten hours on the Heathrow-bound flight called the stewardess “a Malaysian pig”.

The 57-year-old also screamed at her: “I hate your f***ing country”.

Williams’ foul-mouthed outburst led the captain of the A380 to declare a security alert at 30,000ft.

Her hands were tied behind her back with plastic loops but after she kicked the stewardess in the bottom her legs were bound with gaffer tape.

The incident happened on a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur in January, a court heard in Willesden, North West London.

Williams staggered into first class demanding more alcohol, kicked a meals trolley, snapped an arm rest and fell on another passenger.

The hospital receptionist’s outburst made children cry and one family moved to another deck.

Stewardess Teoh Ming Lee, 36, told the court: “She used a lot of f*** words. She said, ‘Give me a f***ing coke. I want more f***ing alcohol.

“She couldn't stand up properly and kept leaning to the side.

“She kicked my meal cart, the water on the cart spilled onto the passenger.

“I told her don't kick the cart so she started swearing.

Williams, from Fulham, was convicted of charges including assault and being drunk on board an aircraft.

She denied lashing out, saying: “My behaviour was normal.”

Magistrates sent the case to crown court for sentencing.
