The 25-year-old was never much of a fast food fan but has now decided he has "had enough of this food, forever."

He said: "Normally, I do not go to fast food stores, but my girlfriend persuaded me."

On Friday the couple went to the local Burger King restaurant at the train station of Biel, a city in the Swiss canton of Bern.

They both ordered the Big King burger, but when he took his first bite he noticed something horrifying at the bottom of the bun.

He said: "It looked as if filthy cords, hair, and dirty cardboard had been baked in the bread roll. I was vomiting, my stomach turned around.

And When he took the burger back to the counter to demand his money back he claims the staff were stunned by his request.

When the shift manager came, he apologised to the couple and gave them a refund and an offer for a new menu instead.

But he to eat anything else from the restaurant and only took up the offer for a coke to wash away the foul taste in his mouth.

He still felt sick in the evening and went to the local hospital suffering from "stomach cramps", according to local media.
