THE internet has reacted with a series of hilarious memes after Samantha Cameron shared a bizarre Instagram snap of her and husband David's FEET as the pair celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary.
The former Prime Minister’s bare legs were on show in the social media post from the pair’s bed this morning.
While Theresa May is on the election campaign a week away from the crucial June 8 poll, other posts reveal her predecessor in No10 is currently on holiday in Spain.
And online jokers were quick to pile in with amusing memes.
One posted a picture of former deputy PM Nick Clegg's head peaking out from the foot of the bed with the the words "what about me Dave?" emblazoned across it.
Another had an image of Peppa Pig on a cartoon tele at the foot of the bed while a third featured a smirking swine clutching a cigarette in its trotter.
His wife published another picture today, captioned “the courtyard at the magical Al Cuz Cuz Andalusia”.
There is no sign of whether their three children joined the couple, as he took a break from writing his memoirs spend time with his partner.
They only recently got back from a long holiday to America, where Sam, 45, was seen soaking up the sun in a bikini in Florida.
Meanwhile David, 50, looked to have lost a few inches round his waist since leaving office after losing the EU referendum this time last year.
It came after Mr Cameron was spotted with his old friend Boris Johnson in having dinner in Harlem.
The former chums ‘bopped’ together in New York having apparently buried the hatchet after their acrimonious fallout - when they backed opposite sides of the Brexit debate.
Since then he has hit the headlines after installing a luxury £25,000 cabin for his back garden with a wood-burning stove, dimmer lights and a double sofa bed.
He said he had bought the ‘shepherd’s hut’ as a place to write his autobiography, but said his kids want to use the fancy shed for their own purposes.
And this week an eagle-eyed shopper captured the moment the ex-PM appeared to jump to the front of a queue – to buy some socks.
He seemed to be given special treatment as he popped into the Oxford Street branch of JD Sports in London to pick up a budget multi-pack.
