Sick thugs who raped disabled lad, 13, then threatened to put a video of the attack online are sentenced to death in Kuwait
Sickos, aged between 18 and 23, took the boy to a chalet last year where they sexually abused him
SEVEN young men are set to be hanged in Kuwait after a 13-year-old disabled boy was abducted and raped.
The gang, aged 18-23, filmed their victim’s ordeal in September and then warned him that if he told anyone what happened they would post the video on social media.
Their victim was a boy who had a partial mental disability and was easily led.
He was then abducted before being dragged into a chalet where his ordeal was to take place.
The rapists, some of whom had videos of their hideous crime on their phones, originally got 10 years.
But an appeal court overturned this and now the men face death by hanging.
The convicts are four Kuwaitis, a Yemeni, an Iraqi and a stateless person.
The victim’s lawyer, Ibrahim al-Bathani, said: "This is a historic verdict."

The ruling is not final because the case must go to the Kuwaiti supreme court, although it is expected to be upheld.
Since it introduced the death penalty in the mid-1960s, Kuwait has executed 74 men and six women.
But these have been mostly murderers or drug traffickers rather than rapists.
The passing of the death sentence comes as a 35-year-old Egyptian man was sentenced to death for raping a 20 month child.
