Woman ‘throws herself 20 metres in front of car while clutching two PILLOWS to break her fall in ludicrous compo bid’

Clip allegedly shows lame attempt at winning compensation

THIS is the hilarious moment a woman allegedly made one of the world’s least convincing attempts at pretending to be run over in a fake car accident.

Dashcam footage appears shows a woman running out in front of an oncoming car clutching two pillows which cushioned her fall as she threw herself onto a road in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev.

But, unfortunately for the apparent would-be scammer, driver Valeriy Novik had his dashcam switched on, and he was alert enough to slam on his brakes.

A female voice, believed to belong to the passenger in the car, can be heard in the background of the unverified video footage asking: “What the f*** was that?”

Mr Norvik posted the clip on social media with the comment: “Meet Anya, she is 34-years-old. Anya decided to throw herself under my car.

“When I stopped and showed her that I had filmed the entire incident on a dashcam she got upset.

“As Anya is a poor stunt maker and the tarmac is too rough for her, she uses cushions.”

Mr Norvik added: “If you get into this situation then pull over not far from the scene and call the police. This way you will help other drivers to avoid such troubles with scammers.”

The woman named as Anya was dressed in a fur coat – despite the fact that temperatures have been soaring in Kiev.

The clip has gone down a storm on social media.

One user called Yegor said: “She missed by about 10 feet and looks like a crazy person”, while ‘Hugg LV’ added: “She could have also been wearing a pot on her head.”

It comes just one week after a similar case – in the town of Elektrostal in north-western Russia’s Moscow Oblast region – when a woman threw herself onto a zebra crossing in front of an oncoming car.

That attempt too was doomed to failure as the woman was even further from the car and the man immediately drove to a police station to show officers his dashcam footage.
