John Prescott joins Corbyn on the Labour campaign bus
The former Deputy Prime Minister slammed Theresa May for her U-turn on social care funding
JOHN PRESCOTT hit the campaign trail with Jeremy Corbyn today - and managed not to attack any voters.
The Labour veteran was pictured in the door of the party's campaign bus with the leader as they travelled through East Yorkshire.
Lord Prescott, 78, joked that "Prezza and Jezza" were "back on the battlebus" as he slammed Tory policies in front of crowds of supporters.
He also brought along a toy fox to show his opposition to the Conservatives' plans for a vote on repealing the fox-hunting ban.
The former Deputy Prime Minister is notorious for punching a member of the public who threw an egg at him while campaigning in 2001.
The pair began their day of campaigning in Hull - Lord Prescott's home town - before moving on to Scarborough and Goole.
On stage in Hull, the two men discussed Theresa May's U-turn on funding social care.
Lord Prescott asked: "Has she done another U-turn, Jeremy?"
The party leader replied: "Apparently, yes."
Lord Prescott said, "Oh blimey, you can't trust this woman", adding: "All her life is about U-turns."
He also accused her of failing to agree policies with her own colleagues.
When the Labour pair reached Goole, Lord Prescott focussed on the proposed fox-hunting vote, which could see the ban scrapped.
