Families of Ian Brady victims celebrate as sick killer finally dies and vow to ‘never forget’ those he killed

FAMILY members of those killed by Ian Brady today celebrated the news the sick child killer had died after a battle with cancer.
Brady, one of Britain's most notorious serial killers, died yesterday in hospital after succumbing to cancer.
A family member of Lesley Ann Downey, who was just ten years old when she was killed, tweeted: "We as a family have had the best news ever! Brady the devil's disciple is DEAD!!!
"May you rot in F****** HELL!!!!!!!!!!".
They also tweeted a picture of Brady's victims, insisting: "You will never be forgotten."

Lesley Ann Downey's brother Terry West said: "I poured myself a glass of wine when I found out – we've been waiting for this day for such a long time. It's closure for our family, the reported.
"But I really feel for Keith Bennett's brother Alan and the rest of his family – this probably means they'll never know where his body was buried. He's taken it to the grave."
The 66-year-old added: 'What Brady did will never be forgotten – it's had such an effect on all our lives.
"I had to protect my children when they were growing up, I wouldn't let them play out in the street."
Former police officer Norman Brennan, who represented the family of victim Lesley Ann Downey, told Newsnight about the "grief and torment" he saw on the faces of her mother and father.
He told the programme: "To know that your daughter was lost, alone and murdered and then actually her death was recorded, the grief can never ever be etched from your mind.
"Those two individuals, Myra Hindley and Ian Brady, they didn't just destroy five young children's lives.
"For their relentless appeals and false hopes that they gave the families for over 50 years destroyed all of the families as well, even to this day."
And the brother of victim John Kilbride last night told The Sun said he felt “numb” when he heard the Moors Murderer had finally joined accomplice Myra Hindley in hell.
Terry Kilbride, 63, said: “It’s a lot to take in. It’s been years and years of anguish and pain for us and the families of the victims.
"He’s ruined our lives all these years and he’ll still ruin it even though he’s gone. I feel numb.
"He was a murderous psychopath. There are no other words to describe what he was. A complete lunatic. Good riddance."
