Grieving husband of tragic Benidorm plunge victim Kirsty Maxwell reveals she suffered from vertigo ‘and would only have leapt 100ft if she was in fear of her life’

THE husband of Benidorm balcony-plunge victim Kirsty Maxwell revealed she was scared of heights.
Distraught Adam, 27, said it was “ludicrous” that the hen party reveller would have tried to jump 100ft into a pool.
The bank worker — who wants five British men in the apartment she fell from to face a fresh grilling — told of Kirsty being terrified when they took a helicopter ride together on their Las Vegas honeymoon seven months ago.
He said of her longstanding fear: “It had got worse. She was incredibly nervous as the chopper took off — and held my hand extra tight.
“She was even uncomfortable on planes."
“It’s absurd to suggest she was trying some kind of daredevil prank in a 10th floor apartment.”
The five men were partying on drink and drugs when Kirsty, 27, is said to have wandered in two weeks ago.
She was on a hen trip with 30 pals.

Adam said of the men, who Spanish cops allowed to return to the UK: “They will know the truth.
“The only circumstance in which I could imagine her jumping is if she was in fear of her life.”
Amazon executive Joseph Graham, 32, one of the Benidorm five, told police Kirsty looked “mad, drunk or on drugs”.
He said it took seconds for her to vanish from the balcony and denies involvement in her death.
Adam, of Livingston, West Lothian, says there are inconsistencies in statements.
Ricky Gammon, 31, a cage fighter, suggested Kirsty was in the room for longer.
The men, from Nottinghamshire, were on a birthday trip.
Those in the apartment included convicted fraudster Anthony Holehouse, 34, who also denies wrongdoing.
One police theory is Kirsty was suicidal.
But Adam insisted: “She wasn’t.”
