A YOUNG carer has died after she suffered serious head injuries falling from a horse.
Amy-Jane White was riding on Dartmoor, Devon, on Monday when she was killed in what her mother described as a “terrible accident”.
She was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, Devon, but doctors were unable to save her.
Her boyfriend of 15 months, Daniel Huggins, said: "I have lost a lover, friend and soulmate.
"She died doing her greatest love in her life, riding horses.”
Further tributes to the 23-year-old from Plympton, Devon were posted by friends on a Facebook page dedicated to her memory.
Rob White wrote: “We all love you very much Amy. I don't have any pictures that people haven't already shared but I have all those promises I'm gonna keep to you, every single one of them!
“You would be proud of everyone, we have all come together for you and everyone is being strong which is helping the rest of us as we can feed off each other strengths.
“I love you so so much and I miss you very very much!!
“You always gonna be my guardian angel and always in my heart."
Shannon Sharpe wrote: "Amy was so beautiful and kind".
“Sleep tight and don’t cause too much trouble up there”, wrote another friend.
