Diane Abbott in ANOTHER cringeworthy maths gaffe as she says Labour only lost 50 seats – when it was 125
DIANE ABBOTT has made another maths muddle up on live TV as she drastically underestimated the number of losses Labour had made.
The Shadow Home Secretary changed her answer from the number of seats she thought Labour had lost from 50 to 100 in a matter of seconds.

She was asked by ITV this afternoon: "And do you know the number of net losses so far for Labour?"
Ms Abbott, an ally of Jeremy Corbyn, replied: "At the time... of us doing this interview, I think the net losses were about 50."
But the interviewer reminded her that there were 125 net losses so far.

This afternoon has seen that total reach more than 200 after a dreadful night for the left-wing party.
Ms Abbott quickly backtracked: "Well, the last time I looked... we had... net losses... of... 100... but obviously this is a moving picture."

The gaffe comes just days after she landed herself in hot water by drastically getting numbers wrong on Labour's new policing policy.
Earlier this week she was ridiculed for suggesting paying cops just £30 per year.
She first claimed it would cost £300,000 to hire the 10,000 new bobbies during an interview with LBC.
And then she said it would be £80 million – which would still mean the police officers were on just £8,000 a year.
The Labour frontbencher insisted she misspoke in the interview with LBC's Nick Ferrari.
