Theresa May looks ‘unimpressed’ while munching on chips – as Ed Miliband and internet poke fun with cheeky tweets
The PM was keen not to repeat the former Labour leader's bacon buttie disaster from the 2015 General Election
THERESA May risks a battering by chomping on chips during a visit to the seaside yesterday.
The PM slowly munched the treats while on the campaign trail in Mevagissey, Cornwall.
She was careful not to repeat Ed Miliband’s infamous bacon buttie disaster from the 2015 General Election. He yesterday tweeted the PM: "We should talk."
Ed was served a helping of abuse after making a pig’s ear of the bap.
He joined then-Prime Minister , who was filmed the same year scoffing handfuls of Pringles on an EasyJet flight.

They captioned it: “Queen Theresa May tries chips but is unimpressed.”
Another man cheekily edited a picture of Mrs May holding a coffee and chips - but with a cigarette hanging out her mouth.
The caption read: “You want chips with your cappuccino love?”
Another simply joked: “The face that scorned a thousand chips.”
