THIS is the cringeworthy moment a homeowner shoos away the Prime Minister as she tries to knock at her door.
Out leafleting in Scotland today, Theresa May was politely but bluntly told "no thank you" as she approached a voter's garden gate.
It was just one embarrassing moment among many as the Conservative leader endured a quiet day canvassing in typically anti-Tory Aberdeenshire.
During the photo-op, no one on the street answered their door to chat to the PM.
Instead she was left acting the postie as she could only deliver campaign literature through doors.
Popular Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson joked: "We told you we’d make you work when you came up here prime minister."
Her gaffe is despite polls putting the Tories in a strong second place behind anti-union Scottish Nationalists, leaving Labour facing annihilation.
It comes after claims emerged that EU chief Jean-Claude Junker attacked the PM over Brexit at an ill-tempered dinner.
The Eurocrat is reported to have said "I leave Downing Street ten times as sceptical as I was before", as he left Number 10, according German newspaper .
