There’s not a lot more Brussels could do to prove once-and-for-all that Britain is better off out of EU
EU bosses dismissed Therea May's Brexit demands and said she was living in a parallel reality
IT’S hard to imagine what more Brussels could do to prove once-and-for-all that Britain is better off out.
Their disrespectful antics contrast sharply with the PM’s courteous attitude to talks so far.
Mrs May must stay strong, stick to her Brexit red lines, and make Juncker and his cronies look the self-serving bullies they are.
Meanwhile, bitter Remainers side with Brussels, hoping Britain has an awkward divorce to prove they were right all along.
The best way of sticking it to the smug Eurocrats and self-righteous Remainers is to give Mrs May the big Tory majority she needs in this election.
It would show Britain is right behind her and strengthen her arm as she goes toe-to-toe with EU leaders.
Your country needs you.
Labour deficits
It sounded that way yesterday, when Theresa May hinted at a series of sensible, properly-funded tax proposals targeted at those most in need.
Ruling out a VAT rise is the right thing to do, and we will be pleased if she ends the triple lock on pensions and ploughs the savings into social care.
It couldn’t be a bigger contrast with the uncosted freebies flung around by a Labour Party that wouldn’t think twice before exploding the deficit.
Britain’s economy deserves better than Labour.

Answer: They can’t be bothered.
That’s the finding of the influential Home Affairs Committee, who are the latest to say the tech giants are “shamefully far” from removing illegal and dangerous content quickly enough.
Sadly these multi-billionaires will start listening only when you – their users – start voting with your feet, and leaving.
Joshua glee
BRITAIN has a new hero, and his name is Anthony Joshua.
Saturday’s fight was a great advert for boxing and Joshua — set to become one of our greatest ever sportsmen — is a superb role model for young Brits.
He’s smart, eloquent and dedicated, and he doesn’t feel the need to trade childish insults with his opponents.
Anthony we salute you.
