A DOCTOR is accused of telling a patient she suffers dizzy spells because she is not getting good sex.

Spanish GP Ramon Gallego faces a two-year ban after allegedly telling the woman she was “mal follada” - which literally means “badly f****d.”

Patricia Marte, the patient who complained, also claimed the doc had smoked in front of her and asked her if she or her mum were better-looking.

He even refused to prescribe her pills because they would make her fat and she had a great body, she alleges.

On Friday it emerged the health service covering Spain’s south-east region of Murcia suspended Mr Gallego for two years without pay.

The GP, who has posted a picture of himself on social media flexing his flabby muscles and his gut in a mini life-vest, has appealed and will keep his job while his case is heard.

The supposed incident occurred at a doctor’s surgery in the village of Llanos de Brujas, just outside the provincial capital.

Patricia, who had gone to hospital about her dizzy spells before being told to visit her GP, said on social media after her appointment: “It was the first time I’d seen this GP.

“He offered me a cigarette and I turned it down and he started smoking in the surgery.

“The worst thing was when he told me he was not going to prescribe the pills they’d told me to take at the hospital because they were going to make me fat and according to him I had a great body.”

Claiming he had gone on to ask her if she was sexier than her mum, she added: “On top of everything else he came to the conclusion my problem was that I was badly f****d, as simple as that.

“I came out of the surgery, walked to my house assimilating what had happened and suddenly felt really down.

“How is it possible that people like this are in posts like these?”

The regional health authority is understood to have decided its sanction after ruling Mr Gallego was guilty of two counts of misconduct.

He is currently working out of a health centre in Alhama de Murcia, around 25 miles from his old surgery.

No-one was picking up the phone at the health centre on Friday.

Local papers say they have tried to contact him but failed to get any response.

A colleague, writing in defence of the under-fire GP, insisted: "I have the pleasure of knowing Ramon Gallego and as a professional I can say that this doctor has always been greatly-loved and

much appreciated by his patients.

"He's possibly one of the few professionals that really sits with his patients to listen to them and look them in the face.

"Nobody in their right mind can believe that someone would have come up with a diagnosis like that."

Another woman, describing herself as a patient of nearly three decades, added: "Doctor Ramon is a good doctor.

"I've been his patient for 26 years and I've never doubted his opinion.

"He dedicates more time than he's got to seeing people and he throws himself into his job with total devotion."
