Instagram star and pal of Tiffany Trump sues United Airlines after stewardess ‘dragged her from business class and called her the c-word’

Glamorous socialite Karen Shiboleth, 24, is suing the beleaguered airline for over £120,000

AN Instagram star who is pals with Donald Trump’s daughter is suing United Airlines after she was ‘dragged from her business class seat and called a c**t’ by an air steward’.

Karen Shiboleth, 24, who is from a wealthy family of Manhattan lawyers, was flying from New York to London to start a masters degree at Kings College last September.

She claims she paid the beleaguered airline over £2,400 to upgrade to a business class seat to be near the front of the plane, reports the .

But the glamorous socialite had only been in her seat for 20 minutes when a United gate agent rushed onto the plane and demanded “without explanation” that she move to back of the aircraft, the civil suit says.

Shiboleth says employee Eunice Daly initially refused to identify herself, covering up her name tag when the passenger tried to look.

The 24-year-old insists she was shocked by Daly’s demands, especially given that there were other open seats in the business class cabin, the suit says.

When Shiboleth protested and showed her ticket for the first-row seat, Daly “took [her] arm without consent and forced [her] to a middle seat in the back of the plane,” the suit alleges.

“Daly further insulted and humiliated [Shiboleth] by raising her voice and calling [her] a ‘c–t’ in front of other passengers,” according to court papers.

She “was paraded to the back of the plane in tears,” the suit says.

The flight attendants later apologised for the incident, but Shiboleth was only offered a £585 voucher.

She’s never used the voucher and is suing for £7,000 in awards points and fees and £117,000 in punitive damages to “deter such behaviour in the future.”

The young socialite has over 16,000 Instagram followers and regularly parties with President Trump’s youngest daughter Tiffany.

She says she paid the extra money for the front row seat because she had “heavy luggage and large carry-on bags which contained a significant amount of her personal belongings and valuables.”

This comes as United Airlines is still reeling from a public relations meltdown when video surfaced of a passenger being bloodied and dragged out of his seat on a flight on April 9.

The paying customer was forcibly wrenched from his eat because the airline had overbooked the plane and needed seats to transport staff members to another airport.

When contacted about the civil suit filed by Shiboleth, a United spokeswoman released a statement insisting the company’s “goal is to provide all our customers with a great travel experience.”

The statement continued: “We are aware of the filing and reviewing it, but due to pending litigation we are unable to comment further.”
