Last night Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon described the election north of the border as a “two horse race” between her Nats and the tartan Tories.

She will attempt to scare Scots voters today by claiming Scotland will “pay a heavier price” with more Tory MPs at Westminster.

But Scots Tory boss Ruth Davidson warned against complacency urging her party members to “work, work and work some more”.
