THERESA May’s Tories could take TWELVE seats from the SNP in Scotland – as polls show the Tories on a record 50 points nationwide.
A survey showed the Conservatives were no longer toxic north of the border with a third of Scots voters backing Ruth Davidson.
Last night Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon described the election north of the border as a “two horse race” between her Nats and the tartan Tories.
She will attempt to scare Scots voters today by claiming Scotland will “pay a heavier price” with more Tory MPs at Westminster.
But Scots Tory boss Ruth Davidson warned against complacency urging her party members to “work, work and work some more”.

It came as an array of polls yesterday revealed the Tories have a commanding lead over Labour with one showing Theresa May surging ahead on a record 50 per cent.
The ComRes poll put the Tories a massive 25 points ahead of Jeremy Corbyn.
And it had the Lib Dems on 11 per cent and Ukip down to 7 per cent.
Paul Nuttall’s party also slumped in a YouGov poll, which placed the Tories on 48 per cent, Labour on 25 per cent, the Lib Dems on 12 per cent and Ukip on 5 per cent.
The tightest poll was produced by Survation which had the Tories on 40 per cent and Labour on 29 per cent and Ukip performing more strongly at 11 per cent.
Other polls showed the PM was more trusted on the NHS than Mr Corbyn which will come as a devastating blow to Labour.
The Tories currently only have one Scottish MP north of the border, David Mundell who is Scottish Secretary.
