A BOY, 15, has been stabbed at a busy park in broad daylight as cops launch an urgent probe.
West Midlands Police were called to Turnberry Park, in Great Barr, Birmingham, shortly after 4pm today.
Officers found a 15-year-old boy with serious injuries near the park in Turnberry Road, opposite Calshot Primary School.
He was rush to hospital, where he remains, by emergency services.
The park has been sealed off and photographs from the scene show an underpass covered with police tape.
A spokesman for the force said: "We were called to Turnberry Park, off Turnberry Road, Great Barr, shortly after 4pm today (Mon) after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed.

"He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"We are in the early stages of our investigation and would urge witnesses or people with information to contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 quoting log number 3629 of 17 March.

A member of the Friends of Turnberry Park said: “We are deeply concerned about the incident that took place in the park today.
