CCTV released in hunt for man who ‘flashed and filmed’ woman on train during rush hour

The man was 'outraging public decency'

AN IMAGE of a man who "flashed and filmed" a woman on a train has been released in a desperate bid to find him.

The man was touching himself inappropriately on a train from Huddersfield to Leeds on Friday 31.

From 8.30pm and 9.30pm he was said to have flashed and recorded the woman as well behaving indecently in public.

An image of the man has since been shared on X appealing for help to identify him.

He appears to be a white male in his early 20s with cropped brown hair.

At the time of the event he wore a collared shirt and a black jacket.

Cops have urged anyone with further information to come forward.

British Transport Police released a statement saying: "Do you recognise this man?

"Officers investigating an incident of outraging public decency on a train between Huddersfield and Leeds in January have today released this image in connection.

"Between 8.30am and 9.30am on Friday 31 January, a man on the train was seen recording a woman while touching himself inappropriately.

"Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help with their investigation.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 217 of 31 January 2025.

"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
