Footage filmed by Borysko shows the moment a Ukrainian drone was about to take off when the site was hit by a Russian FPV.

An explosion can be seen on the video before shrapnel is sent in every direction.

After the dust settled, Borysko was seen covered in blood with his winter jacket and a bulletproof vest riddled with holes.

Nearby Ukrainian soldiers applied a tourniquet on Borysko and sent him to the field hospital.

He was found to have numerous shrapnel wounds and a leg fracture.

The brave cameraman was then transferred to a regular hospital where he underwent several surgeries that took metal pieces out of his body.

Borysko was accompanied by war correspondent Olexander Motorny who continued filming at the scene even after the explosion.

Motorny said: "I was filming the drone pilot, who was in the safe place, and Borysko was filming the drone taking off. We heard the explosion and rushed outside.

"He was yelling because he was shell-shocked. He said, 'You have to film me; it is important.'"

The incident happened near Vovchansk, just about 10 kilometres from the Russian border.

Borysko and Motorny are part of the Ukrainian national TV channel 1+1.

Vovchansk was occupied by Russia twice, first at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and a second time in 2024 during the Russian counter-offensive.

According to the Ukrainian military, parts of the city are still under the control of Putin’s army.

Meanwhile, twisted Russian soldiers posted sickening videos of their murderous drone strikes on innocent Ukrainians online as warped war "trophies".

Horrifying clips of several bomb drops on civilian homes, buses, and cars have been posted on Telegram during Mad Vlad's terrorist invasion.

Videos, proudly uploaded by sick-minded Russian troops, show drone operators flying their weapons at a low height over the city.

These terrifying machines - filmed through the remote operator’s camera on the device - have not just targeted Ukrainian troops but have shockingly gone after civilians.

Public workers like nurses, waste collectors, police, and paramedics are just some of the people caught up in these attacks.

These sick strikes started on the outskirts of the port city a few months ago.

Russian troops then started to launch their attacks within the heart of the tortured city.
