Body found ‘near sewage outlet’ along beach in search for missing woman, 44, who vanished over a week ago
A BODY has tragically been discovered "near a sewage outlet" in a beach search for a missing woman.
Colette Marshall, 44, went missing on February 1 from Perranporth, Cornwall.
Cops released two photographs of Colette in a desperate attempt to find her and said they were concerned for her welfare.
They issued an urgent appeal and asked anyone who knew of her whereabouts to get in touch with them.
On Saturday it was tragically confirmed that a body had been found "just off the sewage outlet at Drozskyn" near Perranporth.
Ambulance crews, the coastguard team, and the RNLI rushed to the scene at around 10.15am.

In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "A body has been located in the search for 44-year-old Colette Marshall who had been reported missing from Perranporth.
"A body was discovered along the coastline in the Perranporth area Saturday 8 February.
"Formal identification has yet to take place.
"The family of Colette have been informed of the discovery.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
On the day the body was found, a spokesperson for the force said there was "nothing to suggest anything untoward happened to the individual."
