Urgent hunt for missing schoolgirl, 13, last seen around home time as anyone with information urged to call 999

AN URGENT search has been launched to find a missing girl, 13, who vanished after school.

Nicole Lent was last seen in the South Park Road area, in Maidstone, Kent, at around 3.30pm this afternoon.

Nicole is believed to have been wearing a black jacket and hoodie with grey jogging bottoms.

The 13-year-old also wore a Nike t-shirt and trainers, both black.

She has been described as white, around 4ft 11in tall and of slim build, with very long brown hair.

The missing teenager has links to London and Whitstable.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "The public’s help is sought to find a missing girl from Maidstone.

"Nicole Lent was last seen in the South Park Road area at around 3.30pm on Friday 7 February 2025.

"The 13 year old is described as white, around 4ft 11in tall and of slim build, with very long brown hair.

"She is thought to have been wearing a black jacket and hoodie with grey jogging bottoms, a black Nike t shirt, black socks and black Nike trainers.

"Nicole has links to London and Whitstable and is known to use the rail network.

"Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 999 quoting 07-0751."
