Cops found a gun but had to hunt down the suspect
AT least one person has died and five have been injured in a mass shooting outside a warehouse in Ohio.
Gunshots were heard outside the cosmetics plant in New Albany – located around 17 miles from Columbus – on Tuesday night.
The shooter has been identified as Bruce Reginald Foster III and cops believe the attack was targeted.
He is six feet tall and weighs 175 pounds, cops have said.
Around 20 people were moved from one building to another as chaos unfolded.
It’s believed that 150 people were inside the warehouse when the shooting unfolded at around 10:20pm local time. They were all evacuated to safety.
Cops revealed Foster was arrested on Wednesday morning and also said a gun was found at the scene.
Police have not revealed if he is an employee at the manufacturing plant.
Six people were taken to the hospital, one of which has died.
Greg Jones, the New Albany Police Chief, described the situation as “tragic.”
“This is something that we hoped that would never happen in our community. But we prepare for it,” he told reporters.
The KDC/One warehouse, where the shooting unfolded, produces cosmetics for LBrands stores.
Cops do not believe Foster poses a threat to society.

On February 2, one person was killed and three were left injured in a shooting that rocked Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Last week, one person was shot dead and eight left injured in a shooting in Amarillo, Texas.
This is something that we hoped that would never happen in our community. But we prepare for it.
