Woman, 20, and teenage girl ‘sexually assaulted inside Sainsbury’s’ forcing shopper to intervene – as man, 38, arrested

A TEENAGE girl and a woman have been allegedly sexually assaulted while shopping at Sainsbury’s.
They were allegedly stalked by a man before being attacked at the store in Chertsey, Surrey between 1pm and 2pm on January 23.
Another shopper witnessed the alleged assault and stepped in to intevene, telling the suspect to get out of the supermarket.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested but cops are appealing for more witnesses to come forward.
A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “This occurred between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday, 23 January, in Sainsbury’s on Guildford Road, when the suspect sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl and a 20-year-old woman while they were shopping.”
They added: “We are now interested in speaking to any individuals who may have witnessed the incident, particularly the male member of the public who helped the victims.
