THIS video shows the moment a panic-stricken crowd at a festival in Spain stampeded after a false rumour about a terror attack spread like wildfire.
The chaos was captured on film at an Easter parade in Brit tourist hotspot Malaga and luckily there were only minor injuries.
Many of the revellers took refuge in bars after fear swept through the crowd after some people were seen running.
The deluge was sparked by a fight but then rumours began to spread that a truck was being driven into the crowds - similar to recent attacks in London, Stockholm and Nice.
One witness told : "People came running in all directions.
"The musicians were dropping their instruments. Others even said that there were even mobile phones lying on the ground and people did not even stop to pick them up."
A man and a woman were taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Fortunately the stampede took place at 2.10am when the crowds had thinned. However, a crush at the foot of some stairs could easily have turned deadly.
Daniel Lopez told : "At first it was a fight between two or three young people, but in a matter of seconds more and more people started to join in and that created a situation of panic that spread quickly.
"It was all very fast."
The National Police is investigating what provoked the stampede.
Today the migrant accused of killing four people including a Brit after ramming a truck in a Stockholm store confessed to a “terrorist crime”.
Rakhmat Akilov, 39 from Uzbekistan, admitted responsibility for the attack at a custody hearing in the Swedish capital.
