Cops rushed to the scene at a local park on Wednesday morning - where a cordon remains across much of the 22 acre area.

Officers said a motive for the horrific stabbing is unclear.

The suspect had allegedly been following a day care group of five young children before launching the attack.

A man, described by police as a 28-year-old Afghan national, has since been arrested.
