Fears grow for two missing schoolgirls who vanished in their uniforms 24 hours ago as cops reveal last sighting

FEARS are growing for two missing schoolgirls who vanished 24 hours ago as police have launched an urgent search.

Lacie and Ellie-Grace were last seen yesterday in the Giltbrook area, around six miles northwest of Nottingham, before they disappeared.

Nottinghamshire Police said in a statement: "Officers are concerned for their safety after they were reported missing from the Eastwood and Newthorpe areas, on Tuesday 4th February.

"There is a confirmed sighting of Lacie and Ellie-Grace at 9pm last night in the Giltbrook area."

Both girls were originally wearing school uniforms and cops believe the pair are currently together.

Lacie is described as being 5' 4" tall, of a slim build, and of having shoulder length dark hair.

Police added she is believed to have been wearing a pink hoodie, black leggings, black trainers, and has a cream shoulder bag.

Ellie-Grace is described as being 5' 4" tall, of a slim build, and of having very long light brown hair.

Police believe she is wearing a dark coloured jacket, grey leggings with white stripes down the sides, and grey and pink trainers.
