Traitor Peter Mandelson has reached new low urging EU to stiff Britain over Brexit… and he’s only serving himself
Labour’s Prince of Darkness bites the hand that feeds him once again
WHEN it comes to treachery Peter Mandelson is in a class of his own.
Booted out twice from senior government roles for dodgy dealings, he still managed to grease his way back in.
The Brexit-hating peer is in line for a £34,600-a-year pension from Brussels after swearing an oath of loyalty to European institutions.
So it should be no surprise that one of the most self-serving of politicians takes every opportunity to look after his own interests.
But it still comes as a shock when he tells a German newspaper: “One can only advise the Europeans one thing — forget Britain and take care of your own interests.”
Calling for the EU to stiff Britain over Brexit is a shameful act even by Mandelson’s low standards.
It is typical of him to choose a foreign interview to run down the nation which has provided him with so much.
But then Labour’s Prince of Darkness has made a career out of biting the hand that feeds him.

In his bizarre self-delusion he seems blissfully unaware that the gold-plated European gravy train he is riding caused our Brexit revolt in the first place.
After this latest betrayal perhaps we could propose a special clause in our final Brexit deal.
To keep Mandelson from our shores for good.
Kids before devil dogs
For all right-thinking parents, kids’ safety comes before everything.
It beggars belief that some people would rather keep their devil dogs closer than their children.
Social workers have removed at least 14 children from their families in the last year fearing they could be savaged.
There is little councils can do to take the beasts away.
Instead, the children are shuffled off to foster care.
This needs to be changed.
When a savage animal is a potential threat to life, that must be dealt with.
Innocent children should not pay the price.
Ladies' Day at National
On a sizzling day, it was girl power that shone.
Owned by women, trained by a woman, One for Arthur was an incredible winner in the Grand National.
Even if your bet didn't come in, this is success to savour.
And maybe next year we'll have a woman in the saddle on the way to the winner's enclosure.
