Missing teen last seen near beach wearing Minions pyjamas is found safe and well after urgent search
Cops have revealed the teenager has been found 'safe' and 'well'
COPS have confirmed the urgent search for a teenage boy who went missing near a beach earlier today has come to a close.
Elijah Marsh, 16, went missing from Southport at 10am but he has since been found safe and well.
A frantic search was previously underway for the missing teen last spotted wearing Minions-themed pyjamas near the beach.
The teen was last seen near Fisherman’s path by Formby Beach, a coastline near the south of Southport, Merseyside.
Extensive enquiries were ongoing to find the teenager who is 5ft 10, of slim build, glasses and dark brown hair and is known to visit the Southport coast and golf courses in Southport.
In a statement, cops previously said: “Please share and help us find missing 16-year-old Elijah Marsh from Southport.
“He is known to frequent the Southport coast and golf courses in Southport.
“We are appealing for anyone who lives in the area of Fisherman’s path or the adjoining stretch of coastline to check their doorbell cameras to see if they captured any significant footage.”
