The arrest comes after the video blew up in Germany - with Younes then claiming he was the victim of racist attacks.

The Palestinian has some 300,000 followers on Instagram and regularly posted his trip - which he appeared to enjoy.

But on New Year's Eve Younes, from Nablus in the West Bank, posted a video of himself shooting a firework through a bedroom window.

In the clip, which received 10,000,000 views before Younes deleted it, the influencer can be seen lighting a firework and firing it at an apartment building in the suburb of Berlin-Neukölln.

The rocket flies through a dark window on the third floor before the room lights up in yellow and orange.

That window belonged to a child's room - with the cracker exploding inside in a bright orange and red blast and the room then catching fire.

Luckily, there was no kid in the room at the time of the explosion.

In a follow-up video, Younes went to the apartment and apologised to the homeowner telling him he didn't know how the rocket would fly and that he didn't mean for it to happen.

He told Zeit: "What do the police want from me? Do they think I'm a refugee?"
