Boy, 15, killed after being hit by ‘drug driver’ woman, 29, as his ‘heartbroken’ mum pays tribute
A "HEARTBROKEN" mum has paid tribute to her son who died after he was allegedly hit and killed by a suspected drug driver just days before Christmas.
Ryan Marshall, 15, was "mowed down" by a Ford Fiesta on December 21 and died from his injuries in hospital the next day.
Paying tribute to him today, Ryan’s heartbroken mum said: “Ryan was a lovely, caring boy with a cheeky smile and wicked, cheeky sense of humour.
“He was loved so much by me, the family and everyone who knew him. We are all very heart-broken that he was taken from us.”
Specialist officers are supporting Ryan’s family as detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to investigate the incident.
In a statement released on December 24, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, said: "As part of our enquiries the driver of the vehicle involved, a 29-year-old woman from Andover, has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs.

"She has been released from police custody but remains under investigation pending further enquiries."
The force noted that it is still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
