FRANTIC HUNT

Urgent search for missing girl, 16, who ‘may try to travel abroad’ as cops fear she is already 200 miles from home

The teenager also has links to another town in Devon

AN urgent search is underway for a missing girl who “may try to travel abroad” – as cops fear she is already 200 miles from home.

Christeen Madge, 16, was last seen on December 20 at her home in Newton Abbot, Devon.

But cops say she could have reached as far London – and may even venture further afield.

The teenager, of Thai and English heritage, also has links to Torquay in her home county of Devon, say Devon Police.

She is described as having dark hair and a slim build, and is 5ft 2 in height.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the force said: “Officers have been carrying out searches and enquiries to locate her and are now appealing to the public to report any sighting or information which may assist us.

“She is described as being of Thai and English heritage, is of slim build, and around 5ft 2ins tall.

“She has long dark hair and it is not known what she was wearing when she went missing.

“Christeen has links to the Newton Abbot and Torquay areas but it is possible has travelled to London and may make efforts to travel abroad.”

The force urged anyone with information about Christeen’s whereabouts to call 999, quoting log 208 of 21/12/24.
