New CCTV in search for ‘high risk’ woman, 55, missing for over a week as ‘specialist cops’ lead desperate search

NEW CCTV footage has been released in the urgent search for a “high risk” missing woman who vanished more than a week ago.
Mariann, 55, was last seen on Chorley Old Road in Bolton on December 14 at around 9.30am.
The Hungarian, who speaks little English, is around 5ft and of a slim build.
She was last seen wearing a mid-length cream coat with a furry hood.
Cops have grown “increasingly concerned for her welfare” as specialist units join in on the desperate search.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Following a number of appeals over the last week, officers both in Bolton and supported by specialist units are continuing to work around the clock to search for Mariann, as we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Since last week members of the public have been reporting possible sightings of her and speaking to officers in person.
“We know she is Hungarian, aged 55, around 5ft foot tall, of a slim build and speaks very little English.
“Enquiries have included speaking with groups and specific communities in the area that could help us.
“Work is still ongoing by specialist units to track her movements to ensure we can find her and confirm these reports.”
