A Midlands driving instructor has released a series of shocking clips showing the ludicrous risks drivers will take to avoid being stuck behind a learner

The footage taken on the driving instructor’s dashcam shows ludicrous over- and undertaking manoeuvres – together with a host of motorists pulling directly out in front of our learners.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the driving instructor, who wished to remain anonymous, said some of her students had been put off from motoring for life because of the way other road users had treated them.

She said: “ I think drivers should be ashamed of how they treat learner drivers.

“No one was born with the ability to drive but they are very quick to forget how they felt whilst in the learning process.

“A few years ago on a lesson we had a very close call when someone pulled out on us, it affected my learner so much, she has never driven since.

The instructor, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed some of her students have been put of driving for life by other drivers behaviour”

This has affected her for the rest of her life as now, she relies on public transport.”

The video shows what is constantly happening on roads around the Midlands to learners.

The instructor said that people if believe they’ll be held up – even for a matter of seconds – and are prepared to do almost anything to get past.

She added: “If everyone was to drive with a roof box on for just one day, it would shock you they way learners are treated on the road.

“It seems that once people have past their test, they forget all the safety aspects that they learned.”

She said that people seemed to lose all the safety tips they picked up during their learning as soon as they pass their tests
