More are expected to hit the shelves in May - but Primark do not have a more specific date.
Fakes are being flogged on eBay for five times the price as demand remains high for the much-desire item.
Primark even released a tongue-in-cheek pair of socks poking fun at the demand, which has been dubbed "Chipgate".
It comes after Primark staff were accused of clearing the shelves of mugs and flogging on eBay for a marked-up price.
A Primark spokesperson said: "We are doing our best to meet the exceptionally high demand for Primark’s Beauty and the Beast Chip mug and are delighted to confirm that this product will be back in stores in May.”
“In the meantime, “#chipgate socks, priced at just £1, have arrived at selected Primark stores across the UK.”
