THE PARENTS of a seven-month-old boy who died from sepsis because they refused to get him medical treatment for an ear infection have been sentenced to 10 years probation over his death.

Marquita Johnson, 33, and Qwalion Busby, 36, were found guilty of injury to a child by omission after prosecutors said they waited too long to seek medical treatment for their son Naeem Busby's ear infection, KSAT reported.
