A MAN has been stabbed to death yards from the private prep school Prince George will attend later this year.
Malachi Brooks, 22, suffered a knife wound to the heart in the early hours of Tuesday outside Thomas’s School in Battersea, South London.
Police were called to Surrey Lane, just 250 yards from Thomas's School, at around 1.10am.
Paramedics could not save the carpenter, who died at the scene.
Yesterday his family and friends described him as a “kind and lovely guy”.

Partner Rebecca Nowland, 24, said: “He wasn’t just my boyfriend, he was my best friend, my rock.
"You didn’t deserve this, the most decent person I ever came across.
"I’ll never forget you and all the good times we shared together.”

Her brother Ben, 18, said:"There's not one bad word I can say about him.
"Malachi was the coolest, funniest, most loving and outgoing person you could ever meet who always had time for others.
"It's such a shame bad things happen to the kindest people.
"He was the brother I never had."
Det Insp Tony Lynes called Malachi’s death a brutal attack and appealed for witnesses.
No arrests have been made.
Prince George will be four when he starts £5,650-a-term Thomas’s School in September.
