Chilling moment killer pretends to be someone else to cops – before she cries crocodile tears after being rumbled

THIS is the chilling moment a killer is caught pretending to be someone else to police.
Rebecca Moore, 25, was handed a life sentence today at Sheffield Crown Court after being found guilty of murdering a man who was lured to Sheffield park in the early hours of March 9.

Filmed by a South Yorkshire Police officer wearing a body camera, Moore repeatedly lied about her identity, giving the name Lauren Smith.
Seemingly not fazed, Moore stood and waited while the officer requested a photo over the radio.
Hoping to verify the identity of the suspect they were searching for, he asks for a picture to be sent straight to his mobile.
After telling the young woman that they are "looking for somebody", Moore is quick to protest that her name is "Lauren".

She added: "Why? I've not done nothing.
"I've only just come out, out of my friend's house just round here."
She then turned to point at the building behind and stated "it's not me" when asked if she has a bank card or a way of proving who she is.
After repeatedly giving the wrong name, she then also stated the wrong date of birth.

Once the officer had received the photo, he asked Moore to take her hat off.
At that point, another member of the force arrived to help assist.

After confirming her identity against the picture, Moore was arrested on suspicion of murdering Sacad Ali.
Her stunned gasp was followed by: "Why am I, why am I, why am I, why am I under arrest?"
After being found guilty of murder on Monday November 11, Moore was today handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 15 years.
The 16-day trial took place at Sheffield Crown Court.
Also sentenced today for their part were two teenagers, Barney Griffin, 18, and Jack Douglas, 17.
They handed themselves into police on the morning of March 12.
This followed their conviction of the murder of Sacad Ali, who was 24-years-old when he died in Ponderosa Park in March 2024.
Both from Sheffield - Griffin, of Dixon Drive, and Douglas, of Brightholmlee Lane - the boys were convicted in May after pleading guilty to murder and possession of a bladed article.

Griffin who was 17 at the time of the crime and Douglas only 16, have both previously remained unnamed due to legal reasons.
Earlier this year, Sacad received a call just after 4am on March 9 as he was playing video games at a friend's flat in the Netherthorpe area.
The unknown number was in fact Moore who managed to convince Sacad to leave the flat and meet in a park.
Still dark, Griffin and Douglas then appeared to ambush Sacad, stabbing him to death with machetes.
In a statement, South Yorkshire Police have described the assault as "relentless" and "brutal" as Sacad "begged for them to stop" but instead was left alone with his injuries.
Sacad died at the scene shortly after 5am, despite the best efforts from paramedics.
A murder investigation was launched soon after.
Detective Chief Inspector and Senior Investigating Officer for this case Ben Wood said: "After our officers arrived in Ponderosa Park, they immediately secured a large scene in order to preserve any possible pieces of evidence before they began gathering witness statements from as many people as possible who were in the area at the time.
"They provided physical descriptions of the attackers, including details of the clothes they were wearing, with these matching clothing we seized from Griffin's home following his arrest.
"Forensics work was also pivotal as blood recovered from near Oxford Street matched that of Griffin, with CCTV also proving crucial as this allowed us to track the movements of those involved and implicated Moore, Griffin, Douglas as the people involved in Sacad's murder."
Sacad's family have since spoken out to pay tribute to their "loving son and brother".
They shared how he "was the heart" of their family and was "always happy and smiling".
The statement read: "All those who knew Sacad, knew how positive and happy he was. It feels like all the light out of our lives has been taken.
"Our lives have been completely broken by what has happened, and we will never be able to forget.
"We would like to thank everyone who helped Sacad and who came forward to assist the police.

After admitting murder and possession of a bladed article, Griffin was informed he must serve a minimum 16 years in prison with Douglas receiving 15 years.
