Terrifying BOMB threats made against Donald Trump’s cabinet picks who’ve also been targeted by ‘swatting’ attacks
TERRIFYING bomb threats and swatting callouts have been made against several of Donald Trump's cabinet picks.
Targeting of the President-elect's nominees comes after his landslide win and as he prepares to take office in January.
Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt slammed the "violent, unAmerican threats to their lives" in a statement on Wednesday.
She said: "These attacks ranged from bomb threats to swatting.
"In response, law enforcement and other authorities acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted.
"President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action."
The threats were made between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The threats were not credible and no devices or physical threats were found, NBC News reports.
The threats did not involve Trump of Vice President-elect JD Vance.
Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who is set to be Trump's Ambassador to the UN was one of those to receive threats.

In a statement, she said: "This morning, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, her husband, and their three year old son were driving home to Saratoga County from Washington for Thanksgiving when they were informed of a bomb threat to their residence.
"New York State, County law enforcement, and U.S. Capitol Police responded immediately with the highest levels of professionalism."
Matt Gaetz had a police bomb squad turn up to his house after a pipe bomb threat was made against him, Punchbowl news reports.
The Florida Congressman-elect was initially picked for the Attorney General post but subsequently withdrew due to an ongoing sex scandal.
Trump's other cabinet picks include Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State and Scott Bessent as his Treasury Secretary.
In a statement, the FBI said it "is aware of numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting incoming administration nominees and appointees, and we are working with our law enforcement partners.
"We take all potential threats seriously, and as always, encourage members of the public to immediately report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement."
Lee Zeldin, Trump's pick for EPA Administrator, said a pipe bomb threat targeting him was sent with a "pro-Palestinian themed message".
He said: "My family and I were not home at the time and are safe."
Trump's pick for Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins had to flee her home in Texas following a threat against her.
Businessman Howard Lutnick, who is up for Commerce Secretary, had a threat against his home in New York's Upper East Side.

Swatting is where a violent threat is made to police about a location, causing a heavily armed SWAT police response at someone's home.
It is a tactic often used by internet pranksters who can make the calls anonymously and deceive law enforcement.
