A BIZARRE video shows a ladder that terrifies a workman by moving on its own.

It is not clear where the video was recorded, but shows the ladder seemingly "walking" without being touched by a nearby workman.

The Sun Online was not able to verify the footage and whether or not it was staged for a joke.

The video - similar to one that emerged two weeks ago - begins by showing the man standing on the ladder while he works on a wall.

But when he climbs down and turns his back to it, its begins moving away - seemingly without even being touched.

By the end of the video, he pulls out a large homemade wooden cross - which the ladder continues to "walk" away from.

It then collapses on its own, prompting him to flee the room in apparent terror.

It comes just a few days after a dad claimed to have filmed the ghost of a monk named Cuthbert peering out of a pub window.

He even tries to use a makeshift wooden cross to stop it moving

Sean Reynolds, 33, says the apparition was caught on camera during a paranormal investigation at The Rutland Arms in Newark, Notts.

And earlier this month a spooky video showed the shocking moment a ghost attacked a teen as he read in his house.

The ‘chilling clip’ - posted on the YouTube site Scary Video – opens with the boy strolling around engrossed in a book.
