Cops investigating Westminster terror attacks which left four dead arrest 30-year-old man in Birmingham
COPS probing the Westminster terror attacks which killed four people have arrested a 30-year-old man in Birmingham tonight.
Anti-terrorism officers have detained the suspect as part of their investigation into deadly attacks on Wednesday in London, the Met Police said.
Pictures have emerged showing officers removing computer equipment and data CDs in huge bags of evidence from a property in the Winson Green area of city, which has been under police supervision since Friday.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "A 30-year-old man was arrested today at an address in Birmingham on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts.
"He was detained under TACT (Terrorism Act 2000) and currently remains in police custody."
Some neighbours have said that Masood would regularly visit the house and take his children to the home to pray.
Masood was on WhatsApp just two minutes before unleashing the horrific attack that claimed the lives of four people and injured dozens more, prompting Home Secretary Amber Rudd to call for the Facebook-owned messaging service to open their encrypted system to intelligence services.
A 58-year-old man remains in police custody suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts, while a 32-year-old arrested over the same suspected offence has been released on bail.

Police insisted the attacker was a "lone wolf", with authorities yesterday admitting they had previously investigated him.
Senior counter-terrorism officer Neil Basu said: "We must all accept that there is a possibility we will never understand why he did this.
"That understanding may have died with him."
Basu appealed to the public to come forward with information which may shed light on the motive of Masood, who converted to Islam.
A pal has revealed that Masood had a very different past and was once a party animal who loved marathon crack sessions with hookers.
