And eyebrows were raised when fitness freak Health Secretary pick Robert F. Kennedy Jr joined them for a McDonald’s aboard Trump’s jet.

The Sun on Sunday revealed that Trump’s team is looking at plans to deport illegal migrants to Rwanda.

The scheme was drawn up by the old British Tory government but ditched by Sir Keir Starmer when he became PM.

Allies of Mr Trump said his team is considering deporting illegal immigrants to a number of countries - including Rwanda.

A source close to Trump’s camp said: “Trump campaigned on a promise to crack down on illegal immigration - and he is determined to stick to it.

“His team is looking at the Rwanda scheme. He is considering deporting illegal migrants to Rwanda and other countries so they cannot stay on American soil.”

Mr Trump won a sweeping victory by promising to crack down on illegal immigration in America.

He accused Joe Biden and the Democrats of woefully failing to protect America’s borders.
