Man, 18, rushed to hospital after being ‘stabbed in the neck’ in Ilford with cops at the scene as manhunt launched
A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing as cops launched a manhunt.
The attack happened in a busy shopping complex near the Redbridge Council offices in Ilford, East London, just after 5pm.
Witnesses reported that a man was stabbed in the neck resulting in significant blood loss.
The victim was rushed to a trauma centre where his current condition remains unknown.
The force deployed officers, paramedics and dog handlers to the area.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is ongoing.

Authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspect involved in the attack.
A spokesperson Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called around 17.25hrs on Saturday, 16 November to Ilford High Road to reports of a man stabbed.
"Officers attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service.
"An 18-year-old man was discovered with injuries. He has been taken to hospital.
