A neighbour blamed them for her pet’s death and video shows eight cop seizing her prized show breed dogs before Jodie, 34, was arrested in Mortimer, near Reading.

But police decided she will face no further action and a dog warden has now returned them.

Jodie said: “We’ve been through living hell.

"The police tore apart our family as the dogs are like our kids.

"There was zero evidence."

Thames Valley Police said: “Two dogs were seized as part of the investigation and were returned.

"No criminality was found and the matter has been transferred as a civil dispute.”
