Tragedy as ‘hero’ dad, 36, suddenly dies in mysterious circumstances leaving behind devastated family
A DAD has suddenly died in mysterious circumstances leaving behind a devastated family.
Kyle Colino was just 36 when he passed away "out of the blue" at his home in Warton on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire.
His uncle, Tony Colino, said the family are still waiting to find out the cause of Kyle's death.
Tony, 48, told LancsLive: "We've had a lot of loss anyway, as a family - gran, grandad, mum and dad. As a family, this has hit us really hard.
"They were kind of expected: age, cancer and dementia, whereas this was just out of the blue. I only spoke to him the day before, I dropped him off after going for Sunday dinner."
Tony said Kyle was found "unresponsive" on the morning of Sunday, October 13, by his girlfriend.
She dialled 999 and paramedics then performed CPR.
Tony said she messaged him to say he needed to contact her ASAP and then Kyle's brother called him to confirm he had died.
"I just couldn't speak," he said.
Kyle leaves behind 12-year-old son Conner who has described his dad as "his hero".

Tony said the family has a history of heart problems, but Kyle - who was born in Blackpool - had been tested and it remains unclear why he died.

On the crowdfunding page, Kyle's son Connor said: "It is with overwhelming sadness and heavy hearts that we have to announce the shock passing of my beloved father, Kyle Colino.
"He was a pillar of our family and known to all our community, and his sudden death has left us all in shock and grieving."
