NORTH Korean soldiers are reportedly hooked on porn after being given unrestricted internet access for the first time while fighting for Russia.

Military troops who joined the front in Ukraine are believed to have something other than fighting on their mind - much to Vladimir Putin's dismay.

The North Korean soldiers have been unleashed into an "unfettered" internet access realm - and are taking advantage of it by "gorging" on pornography, a Financial Times commentator claims.

Kim Jong Un has made numerous crackdowns on internet use under his ruthless communist dictatorship.

Even accessing the web is for the select few who are able to secure the required authorisation.

The most up-to-date investigation into North Koreans' internet usage in 2016 found that people could only access a shocking 28 different websites.

And most, if not all, were churning out state propaganda and news about their Supreme Leader.

While it's unclear how the number has changed over the last few years, what is obvious is that porn must be near impossible to access.

The Financial Times' Gideon Rachman said in a post on X: "A usually reliable source tells me that the North Korean soldiers who have deployed to Russia have never had unfettered access to the internet before.

"As a result, they are gorging on pornography."

But the North Korean soldiers won't have access to all the internet has to offer in Russia - because, like Kim Jong Un, dictator Putin also censors the online world.

In 2015 the country introduced sweeping bans on the world's largest porn sites like PornHub and YouPorn.

And six years later, in 2021, Russia's online content regulator proposed limiting access to all porn by locking it behind state-run services under the guise of wanting to protect underage internet users.

Despite the various bans and limitations, there's still a chance soldiers can access porn - while also getting a glimpse of independent news.

In 2022, Ukrainian digital marketing company Baydachenko began buying ad space across Russian websites to link Russians to independent news sources.

This was reportedly to teach indoctrinated Russians what was going on in the world beyond Putin's propaganda.

The agency eventually resorted to running ads on unmoderated Russian porn sites in a counter-propaganda operation.

Tubby tyrant Kim Jong Un is committed to helping out desperate Putin - who has been losing a record number of men - to win back the Russian city of Kursk.

He has sent 10,000 troops to help them fight off Kyiv's army in the Kursk region and win the "holy war".

It comes after chilling footage showed Vladimir Putin staring down South Korean foreign minister Chloe Son-hui with a minute-long handshake in Russia.

The bizarre power-play came after the mad dictator expressed his gratitude to Kim Jong Un’s top envoy.

And a red and blue North Korea flag has reportedly been spotted flying alongside the Russian tricolour in Ukrainian territory - sparking fears of a major escalation in Putin's bloody war.

If confirmed, it would suggest that Pyongyang troops have been deployed to the front line, marking the first time a third country puts boots on the ground in the two-year conflict.

In recent weeks footage has emerged of what Ukrainian intelligence says are Kim's troops training at Russia's military bases - with the US and Kiyv fearing they have been sent to join the Russian leader's war.

Ukrainian troops have already wiped out at least 40 "elite" North Korean soldiers deployed by Vladimir Putin to regain his invaded Kursk territory.
