Mystery as ‘human remains’ found in field near primary school with cops probing ‘unexplained’ death
UNIDENTIFIED human remains are believed to have been discovered in a field near a primary school, say cops.
A police forensics van and an underwater search unit have been parked up in a quiet cul-de-sac near Lyde Green, Bristol, since yesterday.
The human remains were found just a five-minute drive from a local primary school.
Officers confirmed they have not yet been able to identify the remains.
A resident, who asked not to be named, said: “A local man was walking his dog in the field yesterday and the dog must have noticed something.
"When the guy went over to see what his dog was doing, it became obvious that the animal had discovered human remains partially buried in the field.
