THIS IS the moment a BBC News presenter made an unfortunate gaffe while live on air during reports of the terror attack in London this afternoon.
During a breaking news broadcast on the attack, presenters revealed they would be airing an eyewitness account from the scene of the incident.
The studio went on to play a clip completely unrelated to the events in question.
When producers realised what had happened, the feed cut back to the presenters, where one could be seen wildly gesturing with the "cut throat" motion in a desperate bid to warn bosses.
After being told she was back on air moments later, she appeared to mouth "I'm sorry" at the cameras.
Social media users took to Twitter to blast the unfortunate gaffe.
