Tragedy as body found in search for missing mum last seen walking down street at 3am in pyjamas
A BODY has been found in the search for a missing mum who was last seen walking down the street at 3am in her pyjamas.
Mary White, 73, vanished from her home in Downham Market, Norfolk, around 10pm on September 24 - just hours before haunting CCTV footage was captured.
Her family then reported her missing on September 25 when they arrived at her house in Nelson Avenue to find it empty.
In the desperate hunt to find Mary, CCTV cameras revealed she walked along Railway Road at 3.30am that morning - in what turned out to be the last sighting of her.
A body has now been discovered in a town clock at Bentinck Dock in King's Lynn.
Five weeks on, a member of the public made the horrific find around 11am on Thursday.
